Sculpey: Rose Chao

I mentioned I would post up better pictures of my personally customized Rose Chao. And here she is with her cute little rose accessory.

I actually used Tutorial - Polymer clay roses by ~Catgoyle to make the bud of the rose, but the stem and leaves I worked in myself.
Little Rose Chao herself is a bit more unbalanced than my other newer chao. Its mainly because of the angle of her head, but the rose accessory actually acts as a counter-weight and keeps her balanced.

The red "Eye" gem that she has is actually a Czech glass bead. I will use these occasionally to make jewelry for tiny figures because they don't break, crack or melt when baked with the Sculpey.
Unlike the other chao, she has given up her little wings to gain the spider abdomen, and I can see her being able to climb walls like a spider as well, so she wouldn't mind not flying.
I hate how I grouped these photos, it just isn't as well organized as my previous figures, but I wanted to get all the best detailed angles of this little chao, since she was one of my first, and fully customized figures alongside my lost Magnus Chao. I still miss him...

Rose Chao is not, and will not ever be for sale, but this gives viewers a good idea of how I can customize these tiny figures. I'll keep my viewers posted when I make my Etsy shop to open up commissions.

All my chao are hand made, hand painted, and glazed with a matte finish on the bodies and a gloss for the eyes.
The figure is is to scale of the 3-inch sonic figures that you can get from ToysRUS, and stand about 1 inch tall. With the little hovering doo-hickeys, it makes them about 1.5 inches tall.
